    Microsoft Store app locked inside of my recent games/apps on Xbox One


    So this happened a few months ago but I've stayed quiet hoping to just see an update for such a glaring and obnoxious issue.

    As the title says, The 'Microsoft Store' application on the Xbox One has permanently imbedded itself inside of my recent games and apps on the first screen [now the top] of the Xbox One 'Home' page.

    No matter how many different games or apps I open, the store app will just move itself to the far right, and stay there. I can open any number of games or apps after that, and the store app shortcut will still not leave my recents.

    Unlike every other single application. Which, after you have opened 7 [seven] additional applications, pushes them off of the most recent list.

    I have tried everything I can think of short of uninstalling and reinstalling literally everything on the entire console.

    This is disgusting to keep looking at. [and hardly functioning on its own as an application, but that isn't my concern]

    Please someone tell me if there is a way to fix this, or if this is by design.

    If it's not a bug and they actively have chosen to disregard what 'most recent' means, then I guess I'm just at a loss. Disappointed, but not surprised.

    Ensure that you are on the most recent version of the Xbox app and the Game Bar App

    Microsoft Store app > Downloads > Get updates/Update all

    Ensure that you have updated your PC to the most recent version of Windows, including optional updates

    PC Settings > Windows Update > Check for updates > Install

    Sign Out of Your Accounts (Xbox App and Microsoft Store App):

    Open the Microsoft Store by pressing Windows Key + S, typing Microsoft Store, and selecting App Settings.

    Click on Repair and then Reset the app.

    Repeat the same process for the Xbox App and Game Bar App

    Restart Your Device:

    After repairing and resetting both apps, restart your device.

    Sign back into both the Xbox App and the Microsoft Store using the same email.

    Check if this resolves the issue. Thank you!

    For me its all games and apps that where downloaded recently. Tryed downloading apps like xbox insider hub. Same error code 0x97e107df.

    Im on xbox one.
