Microsoft store and Xbox beta app problems.

Xbox Console Companion is not required for games on Windows 10. There is currently a new app for games, the Xbox app (beta). Check out the Microsoft Store.

It's likely that the login status of the Microsoft Account which has the active subscription changed from the Microsoft Store app. I'm pretty sure the Xbox (beta) app uses the account signed into the Store app for verification purposes.

Open the Microsoft Store app and click on the profile icon in the top right corner. Confirm that the correct account is logged into the Store and then verify it is the same account you are logged into the Xbox (beta) app.

if your signed in with a different account for your microsoft store where you download apps etc then it will use this information rather than the information from the xbox account your gamer tag is linked too, if you look in settings in the xbox app beta
you will see this. It will say account 1 microsoft store account 2 xbox and if they are not the same then you wil keep getting this problem sign in the xbox gamer tag account via microsoft store on the app itself and then reload the xbox beta app and then
it should recongnise the pass without you having to pay for it again.
