Microsoft store and Xbox App wont update/install

Discus and support Microsoft store and Xbox App wont update/install in XBoX on Windows to solve the problem; Microsoft wont update and is just stuck saying "pending" and when it does say it is downloading it just stays at 1 percent.     Microsoft store and Xbox App wont update/install


    Microsoft wont update and is just stuck saying "pending" and when it does say it is downloading it just stays at 1 percent. I just got this PC i tried to factory reset it did not work. And same with the xbox app i tried to delete it and try to reinstall but it does the same thing and when i try to go on google and download from their it does not download. I also have tried Terminating them then restaring my PC, Reparing and Resting them.

    I would like to suggest something that worked for another gamer:

    Step 1. Reset the Microsoft Store cache by opening the Run window (press the Windows key + R).

    Step 2. Type wsreset.exe and wait until the Microsoft Store opens.

    Step 3. Download the Xbox Insider Hub app once you search for it on the Microsoft Store.

    Step 4. Open the app and go to “previews”, find the “Windows Gaming” preview and join to it.

    Step 5. Restart your PC, then open the Microsoft Store, go to Library and click on Get updates.

    Step 6. Run again the wsreset.exe command and try to install the Xbox app directly from the Microsoft Store.

    In the upper left of the Xbox Insider app, you should be able to see 4 tabs:

    Announcements
    Previews
    Activities
    Profile.

    Click on the “Previews” tab and click on the one that says “PC Gaming”, then click “Join”.

    After that, follow the steps I previously shared.

    Please go to Settings > Windows Update > Check for updates. Make sure to install all the updates listed there are installed.

    Open the Microsoft Store app then go to Library > Get updates. Please install all the updates for the Microsoft Store app.

    After doing those steps, log out then log back in to your account using the Xbox app and see if the library section is showing up.

    For installing games, try using the Microsoft Store app to install the games and see if it works.
