    Microsoft Store and Xbox app not installing games on pc


    I have been trying to install Ark Survival Ascended on my pc which is using windows 11 and when the download gets to 100% and it trys to install the game it comes up with error codes. I have thoroughly gone through numerous methods to fix the issue with nothing working. I have tried heaps of powershell and cmd commands and nothing seems to work. Anything you see on reddit or on microsoft posts like this one i have tried and nothing works.

    Not the Microsoft store

    If you don't have the Xbox app , as I advise previously. Please install it from the Microsoft store or use this link

    And, when you say "I can install games now, but I still cannot see any of the games"

    This is via Xbox app? Or are you installing the games from the Microsoft Store?

    I don't understand how you're trying to install Microsoft store from the Microsoft store. If you already have the Microsoft store, then you should be able to install games on your PC. Or do you mean the Xbox App?

    Did you download the game directly from the Microsoft Store?

    Make sure that you have an Xbox app installed to your PC. If not, look for Xbox app from the Store and install it.

    No. That's not possible. If the games support Play Anywhere, you can install them through the Microsoft Store app or Xbox app and play them on PC.
