Microsoft split my accounts - how can I merge them again?

For security reasons, it's not possible to merge or combine Microsoft accounts, nor can you transfer such things as your game progress or gamertag, account purchases and balance from one account to another.

I do not think anyone will be able to make an exception and bypass security setup, however you can have a try with contacting Microsoft Support.

Easiest is unlinking your wrong Skype account from your Microsoft account from your computer's browser. Follow the instructions here:

support.skype.com/.../how-do-i-unlink-my-skype-and-microsoft-or-facebook-accounts

After unlinking you can start the linking process again and pick the right Skype account this time around:

support.skype.com/.../how-do-i-merge-my-skype-and-microsoft-accounts
