    Microsoft Solitaire Collection stutters during game play on Surface RT


    Hi there,

    first off i must say i didnt realize how much i missed Solitaire and I'm addicted all over again .

    However after a clean boot the game operates on my Surface RT for maybe a half hour until it starts freezing after either shuffling 3 cards in klondike or even moving a card to another. The freeze periods last anywhere between 1-5 seconds long. I can measure
    this easily because the game timer actually stops then quikcly counts to catch up after each freeze. I have to say its not getting so annoying that's its turning me off from playing more because of it. I use it on my Windows Phone but it eats the battery so
    quickly that its unplayable for more than 15 minutes. Its not a connection issue and I have 3 wireless networks at home on different bands and they don't make a difference.

    anyways back to my Surface. Ive done a wsreset and I even close any applications or services in the background which I don't need but it still doesn't permanently fix the issue. I'd really like to help out troubleshooting as a volunteer so starting with
    this issue would be easy! Haha

    Please let me know what I can do to remedy this, thanks!

    MineSweeper: Can't Sign-In

    I'm also having this problem on Surface pro 4 for Mahjong and Sudoku. Just downloaded and tried minesweeper and it's doing it there too. I actually have no problems playing these games on my old Surface pro 1 (with windows 10 installed on it too). The only
    game that works on surface pro 4 is Microsoft Solitaire Collection.

    Microsoft Solitaire doesn't sync progress/achievements etc. between Win10 PC and Surface RT

    As the subject says, Microsoft Solitaire game info does not sync between my win10 desktop pc and my surface rt. Yes, I use the same account on both pc and surface. I'd assume being logged into xbox, that the data would sync, but it does not.

    game crashes after advertisement

    I have the same problem!

    If I run into a problem during the daily challenge and a second commercial runs before I am finished, the Win 10 Solitaire collection window, all too often, CRASHES and CLOSES on me!

    June 13, 2018 was the most recent time this happened. The dairy queen commercial ran before I had finished, the window grayed out, a "waiting/buffering" small rotating blue circle appeared, then the window CLOSED!

    When I re-opened the ms solitaire collection, ANOTHER advertisement ran, stuttering/freezing while it played. It did NOT finish before I was allowed to play the Klondike solitaire for the day. I finished that in less than two minutes, then ANOTHER ADVERTISEMENT
    played before I was allowed to play freecell, the last of the day's challenges! ( I had finished Pyramid, Tri-peaks, and Spider BEFORE the window CRASHED!)

    Another comment. Microsoft seems to have added a 1/2 to one second delay between playing games in the solitaire collection, presumably to push their small ads.

    I have been playing the Solitaire Collection for a long time - sometimes on my desktop, sometimes on my Surface. Whatever challenges I completed on one showed up on the other. Since I upgraded to Windows 10 on my desktop and got the new Solitaire Collection
    there, that is no longer the case. If I do something on my Surface, it will show up on my desktop. But if I do it on the desktop, the Surface doesn't know about it.

    My Surface Pro is freezing after starting Microsoft Solitaire Collection, I have to hard boot it. This has been happening for 4-5 days now, I even restored my system. I gave up and downloaded a different solitaire game on my Win 7 PC. bummer
