Microsoft Solitaire Collection stuck on random

Yup, I apologize, I missed that part on the Tripeaks specifically in your original post. @MRallamagoosa has the right answer in that Tripeaks and Pyramid do not have difficulty settings. I apologize for the confusion!

It doesn't have 'show difficulty selection' it has 'remember deck difficulty' but Pyramid and TriPeaks aren't on the list.

Actually if I'm not mistaken that option is available only for Klondike, Spider and Freecell, while it is not available for Tripeaks or Pyramid which are RNG so difficulty doesn't really apply.
Tripeaks and Pyramid daily challenges are always difficulty rated instead since those are the only ones guaranteed to be solvable (as far as the challenge requires).

When playing the game, if this is on Windows 10, first click the "Menu" button in the top left of the window and select "Game options". Scroll down and make sure that "Show Difficulty Selection" for Klondike is set to ON. Once that is set, you can click
the X in the top right of that Game Options pop up (not the full game).

Then, in the bottom right should be the option for "New Game" with a plus sign. If you click that, it should prompt you for what difficulty setting you want. Select what you want, and you might want to make sure the option "Always remember my selection"
is OFF so that it will keep prompting you. Or you could leave it on and follow these steps whenever you want to change the difficulty.

I'm playing free cell and spider solitaire on Xbox Microsoft solitaire collection and you can't play offline unless you play a random deck. So I switch but can't figure out how to switch back.
