Microsoft Solitaire Collection Problem

My neighborhood has limited choices for high-speed internet service: Comcast is the only provider offering cable-speed service. We have recently become aware of service issues consisting of intermittent periods of slow speeds and connectivity losses. This
has manifested in various ways. In particular, it has made me aware of an issue with Microsoft Solitaire Collection, one of my favorite Win 10 apps. Several times now,upon completion of a game during the update of the game's results to the cloud repository,
a timeout will occur due to the Comcast issue. It appears that there are two levels at which recovery is attempted: this first is immediately after after a message to the effect that difficulties were encountered while updating the game results and I am prompted
given the choice to "Retry" or "Cancel". "Retry" seems to never be successful, despite other apps, e.g., web browser, Quicken, etc., being able to establish a connection to their hosts. "Cancel" results in the presentation of another dialog, this one offering
choices of "Try again" or "Cancel""Try again" here is also never successful and "Cancel" also results in the program discarding the game result data. At this point, I am able to re-select the same game and the connection necessary to start the game is successful
and I am able to complete the game and (usually but not always) save the results. This is rather annoying when one has conquered an "Expert" level game and, now, must do so all over again. I suspect that the error recovery at these two levels merely retries
sending the message rather than discarding the connection object and re-establishing it first. Could you possibly look into this issue?

Freecell has stopped recording wins but not losses

Similar Problem on my Windows 8.1 Machine. For a few days Microsoft Solitaire Collection only stops recording stats for FreeCell and Pyramid on the Xbox Network.

Reinstallation as described in the Microsoft Solitaire Collection FAQ has changed nothing.

Microsoft Solitaire Collection Version is 2.3.1406.1149

 

Can't login to Xbox Live from Solitaire Collection

Same problem here. Other Microsoft games like Microsoft Mahjong and Microsoft Sudoku work well. I also have no problem logging into Xbox live directly. The only problem is with Microsoft Solitaire Collection.

I uninstalled Solitaire Collection and re-installed and run apps.diagcab, but it still will not sign in.

 

If the issue is caused by your net connection that is not an in-game issue.

My suggest would be for you to get a better internet service
