Microsoft should not BLINDLY BAN innocent xbox users

Microsoft should reevaluate the system they have in place to ban users whether for a small period/permanently. So many people misuse use the report feature which discourages innocent users from going on their boxes. I am unaware of how banning used to work for Xbox users in the past but now I for a fact know that it has gone down the drain. Many people on social media platforms have shown to be banned for things such as typos to things that should not be considered a threat to a moral person. Just the other day I was given a ban from posting in "Looking for Group" and being able to play multiplayer games for the remainder of my ban period. You would expect that I got banned for doing something that would negatively impact others; however, it was entirely different. The post made said, " I need hell sell crates/mc". After seeing there was a typo that changed help to hell. Also sell may be seen as advertising which is against community standards. However, the post was for GTA Online where I was offering my help to players to sell their business stock. When you try to understand the rightful context of my trying to help fellow community members what right does Xbox have to ban? I guess next time I should not offer to help others if this is the outcome. The worst part of the ban is that some bans are unappealable and so we innocent who are wrongfully banned must pay for no reason.

Hello MobsterMJ, I totally understand your point, however as this forum is public view and unfortunately as independent consultants we don't have the ability to know what happened to your account that was banned or suspended.

Enforcement is a department apart from this Community and Xbox service, is not possible for us to access to your account and Enforcement details to check or handle with your ban or suspension.

Again you don't think very highly of your fellow man if you think they'll just blindly buy another console from the same company that banned them despite being "innocent".

You're assuming that people would blindly buy another console after being banned despite being "innocent".

The thinking behind trusting you again after buying a new console is that the massive financial penalty you incurred will make you think twice before commiting another offence. Hardened modders will keep doing it unless you physically put a gun to their head
but they miss out on XBL. Average users will be deterred however.
