Microsoft says that my account doesn't exist, yet that is not true

I've tried all of the things you've listed, but none of them worked. When I went through the alias process (the first link), neither of the aliases that were listed I recognized. The only explanation is that I could've been hacked, because when I went through the account recovery process, it showed that my account didn't exist, yet when I went to create a new account, it showed the exact opposite - that it already was a Microsoft account.

I tried to update the launcher manually since it didn't automatically update since the last launcher update by deleting and reinstalling the launcher, and the same issue happened, and I don't have any confirmation emails in my inbox.

The first idea is to use your phone number to directly log in as an alias.

If none of this works, you can look for you should look for clients that may update like PC Minecraft.

Microsoft takes account security very seriously, that's why Account Recovery is an automated process with no human influence. If you don't have the correct information, you may not be able to get through account verification using the Recovery Form.

The Account Recovery Form requires adequate information to prove that you are the owner of the account. The Account Recovery Process can be a time consuming process, but providing as much info as possible from the start of the process will increase the possibility of being verified by the automated process. You'll need to keep trying until you're verified by Microsoft.

Remember to use a familiar device from which you've frequently accessed your Microsoft account, as well as a familiar location. Microsoft will review your responses and respond within 24 hours. If you are verified, instructions on how to log back into your account will be sent to you, and if you are not verified, you will need to submit the Account Recovery form again. You can do this up to 2 times every 24 hours.

It can be very hard to recover an account like this.

Are you able to find applications that would have updated such as the Minecraft launcher? You can also look for more confirmation emails.
