    Earlier this year or late last year, i changed the email that is connected to my Xbox profile. I have had the profile since i was 13 so it was still connected to my dad's account. I couldnt add an email and delete the previous one, i had to change the primary email entirely and that then made my dad's email now nonexistent. I added my personal outlook email but i dont think it worked because the email "already exists". So i made a new email. Only for this, has never been used for anything else. So this is the reason that email exists, and that email should be linked to the xbox account. But it isnt. None of my 3 (including the new one) outlook emails are linked to my xbox profile and microsoft wants me to make a new xbox profile everytime i try to do anything xbox related. Microsoft support is the worst thing to possibly attempt to even use and so ive resorted to whatever this is. What? Do? I? Do?

    I just need to switch my email on xbox accounts but the email i want to swtich to is reserved to one of my other accounts.

    is there any possible way that someone can swtich the email on my account, please contact me if you can
    The Xbox account IS the Microsoft account and vice versa so there isnt any way to delete the Xbox profile without deleting the entire Microsoft account along with it.

    theres a problem with that. The account isnt connected to the same email anymore. I cant do anything because its not connected to MY EMAIL.

    Is there a way to change the microsoft account my xbox account is on without changing the email on an acount?

    I ask because I have the same account as when I was a kid and I had my dad's microsoft account, but now I want to change the acount to be mine without changing the password asscociated with his microsoft account.
    No. The email is the Microsoft account which is the Xbox account. They are all one in the same so there isnt any way to separate them.

    Im trying to add my son’s email ending in @hotmail.com to his Xbox. Previously it was mine ending @hotmail.com.

    I’ve gone to add his email address as an alias then remove mine.

    Firstly, it won’t allow me to because it says “this email is part of a reserved domain” and secondly if I remove my email from his Xbox account that’s not going to stop access to my personal Microsoft account is it?
    It won't let you add an already existing Microsoft email as the primary alias. Thats normal and there isnt any way around that.

    If you remove your email from the xbox account then YES it WILL stop your access to it forever.
