Microsoft Rewards

How do I get points for preordering a game that is eligible for points now that I already preordered earlier? And what about achievements for a gam when I have accomplished almost all for that game? Are redeeming points for accomplishments
for Microsoft rewards automatic, or do I have to select/ sign up for each item that I want to earn points for?

MyVIP Gems to Microsoft Rewards Points

From the Microsoft Rewards Migration FAQ: "any unredeemed MyVIP Gems will be converted to Microsoft Rewards points and can be used to redeem rewards from the Microsoft Rewards catalog once your membership is transitioned. One MyVIP Gem will
convert to one Microsoft Rewards point".

 

Unless stated differently in the terms of an offer, any purchases/activity you do will automatically count towards an offer on the site if eligible. Actions have to take place during an offer period in order to qualify. So if you preordered a game before
an offer became available for it, your preorder would not be eligible. Same with any offers for achievements.

Only purchases made during an offer period are eligible for an offer. For example, your purchase of Destiny 2 back in April is not eligible for the current Games on Demand offer, which was only created in July. If you are not able to earn the required amount
of achievements for a game during the offer period, then you unfortunately cannot complete the offer. Most of the offers on the MyMissions page are automatically enabled, unless otherwise specified.
