Hello markphg, sorry to hear you're having trouble with the Rewards program.

I'm afraid we would be unable to help with that here though. I would like to recommend filling out this form https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/supportrequ... and submit it. The Rewards Support Team will then get in touch with you.

Give it some time it'll update shortly, or check the Microsoft rewards website to see if the points were added on there

From the Microsoft Rewards Migration FAQ: "any unredeemed MyVIP Gems will be converted to Microsoft Rewards points and can be used to redeem rewards from the Microsoft Rewards catalog once your membership is transitioned. One MyVIP Gem will convert to one
Microsoft Rewards point".

If one gem equals one Microsoft Rewards point , and I have 500 Microsoft Points, that's roughly about 50 cents worth, because a $5 gift card is about 5,000 points.

Whereas if I were to redeem them through Xbox Live Rewards, 500 gems would get me 10,000 Rewards credits - if only such a thing were not "out of stock" - how does that work exactly except that Microsoft chooses for it be out of stock, so they force me to either
put up with giving me a tenth of the value or having to buy something useless like Overwatch wallpaper?

The problem was not Microsoft's fault. they aren't going to reward you with points for AT&T not working. There would be no way to tell who the Microsoft points should go to. Along with that, there would probably be people who didn't have the issue that would
want to get them too because the people that had the problem got them. If you really think Microsoft should give you "free" Microsoft points then sign up for Bing rewards and earn them.

Xbox Live Rewards or
Bing Rewards though and accumulate some Microsoft Point rewards.
