Microsoft rewards set location error

Discus and support Microsoft rewards set location error in XboX Insiders to solve the problem; Ever since a few updates ago (beginning of March) my rewards app on my series x in the alpha skip ahead ring keeps coming up with a location error...     Microsoft rewards set location error


    Ever since a few updates ago (beginning of March) my rewards app on my series x in the alpha skip ahead ring keeps coming up with a location error every time I try to start it. The location is set to UK (where I am) and as far as I can see the location in my account states the UK as well. The app refuses to start no matter how many times I change the location and back to UK.

    Starting the rewards app on my one X (not in any preview program) is will still throw the location error but when trying again it will start.

    The question is two fold really, why does the app start on my one X but not on my series X, and where could a location be wrong in my account?

    Microsoft rewards keeps telling me to update my location

    Please ensure that your Microsoft account is set to the same location. Microsoft Rewards are Microsoft and not specific to Xbox. You may find that fixes the problem. If it doesn't then chances are it a bug as others have indicated.

    I've had the same issue as well. I've tried the power cycle and it didn't work. I also checked the Network settings to make sure everything was ok there.

    Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely.
    Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes.
    Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.
