Microsoft rewards points yearly limit

Yes I was just checking and wondering were you would see the time and day that you'll be able to start redeeming theme again because I think it sucks how you just have to keep trying to see once the year is over someone please help?

I'm just trying to help others- my Microsoft point redemption limit was 550,000 per calendar year. After midnight at New Year's on the east coast, I could not redeem anything so I put in a support ticket. When I got up this morning I was able to redeem
up to 550,000 points which at 91,000 points per $100 XBOX gift card, allowed me to redeem $600 in gift cards which I promptly used at the XBOX countdown sale. It is my opinion that this annual limit greatly reduced my expenditure last year on XBOX digital
games. It is also my opinion that XBOX games sales are, on average, higher priced than sale games on PlayStation by over 10%, which is how Microsoft pays for its reward program. Being that I already reached my annual redemption limit today for the entire
2020 calendar year, I will no longer buy digital games for XBOX, and will spend my money elsewhere.

Hello Deaths,

Thanks for coming to the forums. As Smwutches stated, you would need to fill out a support ticket. As far as we know there is no limit on how much you can redeem in a year. Unless you a sharing with a family and transferring points the limit is 5000 for
a month.
