Microsoft Rewards Countdown Game Sale Punch Card did not track my purchases

Did you activate the punch card before purchasing?

I purchased on the 16th (sale was live then), the punch card was not in the rewards app until the 17th so it was impossible for me to activate it beforehand.

You would need to contact Rewards support and ask them to look into it and hope they manually credit you. A lot of people have been having issues with this punch card....generally punch cards are very hit and miss as to whether they track

I am presuming that you clicked the punch card first before making the purchases?

Your purchase of Titanfall 2 was not within the offer period. Only pre-orders made within the offer period are eligible for this offer.

The purchase tracking is just to show you what titles you have purchased. Only the punch tracking is relevant for Rewards. Your purchase of Dead Rising 4 is not marked as pre-ordered due to a visual bug where only standard editions of that game are being
marked. This is a minor visual error that we are working on correcting, but again, the purchase tracker does not affect Rewarding. Only the punch tracking matters for Rewarding. I can confirm that the punches displayed are accurate.

I am having the same issue as well.

It originally said you can earn 5000 Microsoft reward points by spending £35.00 during the Countdown game sale, but then they changed the description to say you have to spend £40.00.
So far I have purchased -

Hitman GOTY Edition - £8.99

Hitman 2 Gold Edition - £15.99

Resident Evil 3 Remastered - £16.49

Total spent £41.47.

Yet on my rewards punch card it says I have only spent £8.00 out of £35.00. I don't know why mine says £8 out of £35, as there is nothing that I purchased that equals to only £8.00.

Edit - Ok, so mine is now showing £25 out of £35 spent. Still not correct.

Yeah, it kinda sucks, but that's how it is. The rewards punch cards are to get people to try games they might not have otherwise. It's a promotion between Microsoft and the company for whos game it is. The same situation applies on purchasing games
vs pre-ordering. If you pre-order and a punch card comes out, it's ineligible to earn that punch card. Sucks because I do love earning the points but I realize that it's to incite those that wouldn't otherwise buy the product, and not reward those that are
already on board.
