Microsoft Rewards app on Xbox is broken AGAIN

So here we are in February 2023 and the Microsoft Rewards app on the Xbox has decided that it wants me to go on a mystery tour! If the fact that I haven't been able to claim the daily 50 points and it wasn't recognizing achievements I unlocked for the February 2000 bonus point punchcard weren't bad enough today it's decided that it wants me to update my consoles location to match where I am. I'm in the UK! I've ALWAYS been in the UK and so has my console (I don't even change it to NZ for game launches because I don't care about getting into a game early!) So I've tried changing the console location to a few places but that doesn't work, I've reinstalled the app but get the same results! The problem is the app doesn't give you any clues as to where it thinks you are! I don't even know why Microsoft would build an app that has the ability to question where you are but here we are and now I can't Claim ANY points via the rewards app coz the bloody thing thing isn't happy with where it thinks I am!

I've noticed that a lot of players are also experiencing the same issue with the app however, there's no official statement from Microsoft yet so in the meantime, I would highly recommend submitting a ticket to Microsoft Rewards Support through this link: https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/supportrequ... for further assistance. Once you submitted your ticket, you'll receive a response email within 24 hours but if you do not receive a response in your email inbox within 24 hours, please check your "bulk mail" or "junk mail" folders.

That is an image from the Microsoft Rewards app, not the Xbox Rewards program. So it's a Microsoft Rewards offer. You will need to contact customer support for the Microsoft Rewards program again as Xbox Rewards support will not be able to assist.

Hello,

Do you have the Game Bar installed as well? I don't think it impacts but I like to know full picture. Do you have the second account also logged into the Microsoft Store App? Does it do the same thing when you try to switch accounts there?

If Xbox Live Rewards is unable to deposit into your account for some reason, as long as you have not opted out to make the transition to Microsoft Rewards, any undeposited Xbox Live Rewards Credits and unredeemed MyVIP Gems will be automatically converted
to Microsoft Rewards points and be added to your Microsoft Rewards account to redeem for whatever you choose from the Microsoft Rewards catalog
