Microsoft refused to repair my xbox one S, then won't refund my 179 dollars

Microsoft refused to repair my Xbox One S console, no problem, that's fine, I was told via a letter they would refund my money within 6 to 8 weeks, and I still am getting no resolution here on the issue. Can someone reach out so I can escalate the issue
to someone in support. On friday I called in and was told Post-paid support isn't open on Fridays, after I was hung up on by 2 different support people, wasting an hour of time trying to fix this, this has been a horrific customer support experience and I
would like someone at xbox / microsoft to fix this. The repair return was in early May, this should have been refunded by June at the latest. Thank you.

Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We understand you have issue with a repair refund. Unfortunately, no one here can assist in this issue. You will need to request a call from support.

When you go to Contact Us,follow these steps to request a call from support:

Step 1 ----click on Contact us
Step 2 ----under what you having trouble with select Subscriptions & billing
Step 3-----under what is the issue I can't redeem a code then hit next

Step 4 ----scroll down to select request a call

Once they call explain the issue and they will be able to help you. Note that these options regularly change so just keep selecting something that gives request a call from support as a contact option.

I've sent my xbox one s to their service centre after it wouldn't turn on(a very common problem with this model now as I can see)The console was kept in the bedroom and barely been used. I've received it back with a letter saying that the seal was tampered
and they are refusing to fix it and cancelled my warranty as well. When I got it returned the seal was tempered indeed, but that definitely never happened while it was in my possession. The interesting thing is that I'm not the only one in this situation and
the way Microsoft are dealing with this is very unprofessional.

Mine did that as well, right before the blu ray drive failed. I am also on my 3rd xbox one console - make sure to get it seviced ASAP because microsoft no longer renews warranties after a repair. They give you a 3 month warranty from the date of service.
My last repair on my day one console was September 2014...the disc issue happened again back in April and I am now stuck with a paper weight because I refuse to pay $179 for a console that hasn't lasted more than 6 months without failing. If it's still under
warranty specify that you would like a new console after you send yours in.

You would have to discuss a refund with the microsoft store. If they are refusing to give you one, then a repair would be your only option. Or you could sell the console.
