    They're scam bots with automated responses. The best thing to do right now is block and report the accounts so that Xbox's enforcement team can address the issue.

    Random Xbox message?

    It was probably just a casual Xbox message. Don't see how it could have been of any dire importance. Maybe just a connection thing or a friend hitting you up. I don't think Microsoft would put a message of such importance that is so easily clearable.

    Random Microsoft message is confusing

    Was it possibly your email address and the security info which is where Microsoft sends codes to for you to verify ownership of your account like if you forget your password, want to change your password, or other things like that.

    So it sounds possibly like someone may have went into your account to change that information.

    If you did not request this change you will want to sign into your account at account.microsoft.com/security and this should pop up a box wanting to verify your account with the security proof and you will want to make sure that is the security proof that
    you want on your account.
