Discus and support Microsoft Push Notification Service in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I'm using Avast Internet Security 2015 (2015.10.2.2218) on a Windows 8.1 Pro laptop.     Microsoft Push Notification Service


    I'm using Avast Internet Security 2015 (2015.10.2.2218) on a Windows 8.1 Pro laptop. While playing Alphajax, I continually get an error message about the Microsoft Push Notification Service.

    I assumed this was a firewall issue, so I worked through the Avast firewall log and unblocked a lot of programs, but no success. I have also uninstall and reinstall Alphajax a number of times, but no success.

    I note this has raised by others on this forum, but I can't see a solution that has worked.

    Any help appreciated.

    Microsoft Push Notification Service error again!!

    Suddenly started to have this problem again - the message is appearing every time I move to a different display, e.g. from 'their turns' to 'my turns' or to look at statistics.

    Has another auto-update been done?

    They tell me my provider is running to slow, that is why this error come up.

    Hello SwiftSphere437, I do not have a solution for this. It still occurs occasionally for me. I suspect that it is caused when some 'mini-updates' are automatically installed for this game. My scoring looks a little odd when I have this error. In the
    past, uninstalling Alphajax and then re-installing the game (from the store) has resolved most problems for me.

    dictionary

    I cant even find the dictionary access or enable it. I just downloaded jax, and my chat isn't working and I have no idea how to access their dictionary. There is also a flag that I exit from that says that the microsoft push notification service didnt connect.
    After I exit it then it allows me to play. Any suggestions?
