Microsoft Purchases & marketing get sent to old emails?

So this has been going on for years and I never found a solution but now I changed ISPs so I’ve lost my old email. I can’t figure this out.

My primary email linked to my Xbox profile used to be a different one. I changed it years ago by adding my new email, changing the sign in alias, and deleting the old email. However all marketing emails and purchase confirmations from Xbox AND physical goods from the Microsoft Store continues to be sent to my old email.

They still do. When I buy stuff from the Store, digitally or physically, including on the Xbox Store, I don’t get any purchase confirmation emails because they continue to go to that old email address which has long been deleted from my account and I’ve lost access after changing ISPs.

Does anyone know why this is? I have check literally everywhere in my account and definitely only my current sign in email is there, but I don’t get the emails as I know they go to the other one.

This also applies to promotional emails from Xbox which are tied to my account, and say “Hi” and then my gamertag, but again that email is gone.

Any help is appreciated. To me it seems quite clear that in the backend there is somehow my old email still attached to purchase confirmations.
