Microsoft PC Solitaire Collection and Store not detecting internet connection

sorry to hear. First of all check if your System is uptodate (via Windows Update and also via Store APP). Next check if all 4 XBOX Services are running. If this is all fine and you also have rested your Router and Modem and the computer is not a member of
a faulty domain the failure still appears: it gets a bit more difficult because there are different causes for this error message.

From time to time, the error is caused by the automatic proxy:

1. Click on the "Settings" item in the Start menu.
2. Select Network and Internet.
3. In the menu on the left, click "Proxy".
4. If the "Automatically detect settings" switch is enabled, deactivate it and restart the computer.

The second solution to be applied can be completed through the Network and Sharing Center; from there, you need to change the adapter settings as described:

1. On your Windows 10 system, press Win+I to open the Windows System Settings.
2. From there you have to click on Network & Internet (Wi-Fi, Airplane Mode, VPN).
3. The available network connections are now displayed on your computer.
4. Scroll down until you find adapter options.
5. Access to this function.
6. Network connections are now displayed.
7. Right-click the current Wi-Fi network connection available on your Windows 10 device; then select Properties.
8. Turn off the first option you see: Client from Microsoft Networks'.
9. Save your changes and restart your computer.

If changing the adapter settings does not solve the 0x800704cf error code chances, something is wrong with your TCP/IP. So a reset is implicit:

1. Right-click the Windows Start icon and select 'Prompt (admin)' from the list displayed.
2. In cmd-Windows, type ipconfig /flushdns first. This command clears the DNS cache.
3. In the same cmd-Windows, type nbtstat -RR to update NetBIOS entries.
4. Now reset the IP settings by running netsh int ip reset.
5. The last command to be executed by cmd is netsh winsock reset.
6. At the end, close the cmd Windows and restart your Windows 10 system.

If you are still dealing with the 0x800704cf error code, you should uninstall the network adapters to scan and apply any hardware changes. To initiate and complete this process:

1. Click the Search icon - it's near the Windows Start button and it's usually the same icon with Windows Cortana.
2. In the search box, type Device Manager. Click the first result.
3. The Device Manager Windows should now appear on your computer.
4. In the main Windows, click View and select 'show hidden files'.
5. Expand the network adapters to see the list of adapters available on your PC.
6. Uninstall the adapters individually - right-click on each entry and select 'uninstall'.
7. Note: If you can't uninstall a specific adapter, don't worry, go to the next entry.
8. Then click Action and select 'Search for hardware changes'.
9. Save your changes and restart your Windows 10 device.

And again and again it also happend that suddenly installed ISATAP/Tunnel do not work.

1. Open the Network Adapter tab in the Device Manager.
2. Click View to see ALL network adapters. Windows hides the tunnel adapters by default.
3. Uninstall ALL Microsoft Isatap and Tunnel adapters so that only the physical network adapters are installed. In my case, therefore, only the Isatap and Teredo tunneling adapter. Attention: This can be a lot of adapters and YES you need to uninstall ALL.
4. Now right-click one of the remaining adapters and select the "Find changed hardware" option. Then shut down the system and restart it.

Microsoft solitaire Collection plays all adds but will not load the game. message on screen is-( we are having some trouble connecting to the internet to download Microsoft solitaire collection data)

Cleared Cache and Cookies on Internet Browser.

Tried Firefox. Signing on Microsoft Account. OK, Signed in Microsoft Store. Blank Screen, Clicked Search, no response.

Tried Edge. Unable to sign on, all I get is waiting response.

Tried Crome. Signing on Microsoft Account. OK. Microsoft Store, same trouble as Firefox.

Able to sign on to my Microsoft Account with my ANDROID mobile, Managed to download and install Microsoft Solitaire Collection.

The trouble seems to be with my PC.

I have no trouble with other websites.

Unfortunately no luck, nobody seems to know anything about these error codes 121003 and 124 on Microsoft Solitaire Collection. Seems to be a cloud issue. The message is no internet connection when the computer is connected.

How to fix error 404017 in Microsoft Solitaire Collection

1. Reset Store
2. Run app troubleshooter
3. Reset the MSC to factory settings and update it
4. Run SFC and DISM
5. Update Windows
6. Reinstall the game
