Microsoft not sending redemption codes

Discus and support Microsoft not sending redemption codes in XBoX on Windows to solve the problem; I bought my version of Minecraft before Oct. 19th 2018 so I was trying to redeem whatever it is in microsoft so I could get Minecraft Bedrock Edition...     Microsoft not sending redemption codes


    I bought my version of Minecraft before Oct. 19th 2018 so I was trying to redeem whatever it is in microsoft so I could get Minecraft Bedrock Edition for free, which is what I was promised. However, whenever it asks me to enter a 25 character code, I don't
    receive a code! It's the correct contact, so why am I not receiving my redemption code?

    Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We do not send the codes for the Windows 10 edition. These come from Mojang. Here is the steps on how to claim the Windows 10 version.

    1. Go to minecraft.net

    2. Login with your MC Java account.

    3. Click big green "Buy Minecraft" button.

    4. You will get a screen saying: You already own Minecraft, and below that, in small text, a link provided to claim your Win10 edition.

    5. Follow that link and provide your Win10 (Microsoft) account.

    6. Open MS store in Win10, look for Minecraft. It should now say that you own it.

    7. Install and play.

    Sorry to bother you, but I don't know where else to ask and you actually replied, haha. But when I got to the screen that said I already have Minecraft it didn't actually provide me with any link to Windows 10 version. Maybe it has something to do with
    the fact that I'm using a Mac...? But to my knowledge, Windows 10 version of Minecraft is Bedrock Edition for a computer which is what I want to get. Do I have to pay? Or am I doing it wrong? I don't understand.

    Got CODE From Rewards that comes up as wrong region

    The Xbox Rewards program generally does not send codes. If this was from the Microsoft Rewards program, you would need to contact their customer support via their redemption page.
