    We all know, the new policy agreement is inactive gamertags for 5 years are to be reset and released into the battlefield; however, WHEN?

    Will Microsoft announce gamertag resets again? Asking not only for myself, but for others that have there eyes on an inactive gamertag.

    Why are Microsoft threatening xbox players with enforcement team for asking for a refund??

    It's always been a policy. Until recently Microsoft has had a no refund policy in place and have finally started becoming a little lenient on it. But asking for multiple refunds starts to make them suspicious of marketplace fraud.

    The Xbox One is a good console, but has Microsoft's early mistakes left a permanent scar?

    Microsoft just needs to keep providing updates and adding features. It sucks that their early decisions and telling gamers to deal with their policies screwed them over this much, but eh.

    Fortnite was released before the new gamertag policy went into place and does not support that policy. So you'll see the old tag in the game.

    It's a DRM restriction placed on the account that needs to be implemented on the account, it's not just a Microsoft Policy.

    There is a new policy going into place tomorrow. If someone doesn't sign into their Microsoft account for 2 years, the account will be closed which should also close the Xbox account and free up the tag. So 2021 would be the earliest anything would be
    freed up.
