I'm sorry to hear you're having a rough time. I know how frustrating something like this can be. I've been in a similar situation before with a different company. A couple things to remember:

The Xbox live account is completely separate from a console. A gamertag is not tied to a specific console. It can be used on any 360 console to access Xbox live. I've kept my tag on a memory unit since launch day so I could use it anywhere.

With any subscription/service you need to keep your contact information up to date. How else are they to contact you about Any issues that may have come up.

It's important to check bank/credit card statements throughly every month to 1) ensure only the approved amount is being applied, 2) to ensure there is no fraudulent activity on the account.

I have friends who have charged dinner on their credit card, only to find out the amount they authorized was not what was applied to the card. Because they checked their statements against their receipts every month they were able fix the issue quickly.
It wasn't the first billing issue they caught by double checking their statements.

I hate to say it, but you may have to caulk this up as a lesson learned in financial responsibility. Be thankful you learned it for a lot less than some people I know.

you think that digital media would be cheaper, but not in the eyes of MS. what a bunch of money grabbers they are.

Everybody knows whay EA are like though, they are as bad money grabbers as Activison, and that achevement on XBL would be worth 1000 gamer score!!

Still waiting for a reply, younger cousins will be here in a couple of hours. With all you so called experts/money grabbers I thoguht I'd receive a solution by now.
