    Microsoft/Minecraft has made it extremely difficult and infuriating to play with friends.


    I come to the Microsoft forums today with a problem. I recently bought a Nintendo switch and was planning on buying minecraft so i could play with my friend/s. So when i booted up my switch i automatically added my one friends code which he sent to me through
    text. I then thought "Ok so i just put this in, boot up Minecraft and invite him right?". Nope. Not at all. I had to first make a microsoft account. A bug deal. Just aminor inconvenience. So i thought to myself again "Ok so i just put this in, boot up a world
    and invite him right?". Nope again. We were both logged into to everything Minecraft "required" and what happens? Well apparently Minecraft says that none of my friends were online. So i checked my Microsoft account and it says I'm friends with my friend but
    it says hes offline. When i ask him to invite me it says I'm offline. Nintendo says he's online by Microsoft says otherwise.

    Im hoping that someone from Microsoft will see this and hopefully get ahold of me so I can sort it out not have to deal with this type of issue again. Along with a bunch of other people that might have this same problem.

    P.s. I didn't know what to post this under so i put it under xbox. This isnt really an xbox issue or game system issue(or at least hope it isn't) I think it's more of a sofware or server issue. Idk.

    P.p.s. I also got the xbox app and added my friend on there and when he is online it comes up with the same issue of him appearing offline.

    First off thank you for replying. Second: Neither if us are playing xbox one. We are bith using switchs. Occasionally my friend will play the windows 10 edition on his computer and we couldnt get it to work on there either. He has in the past been able
    to connect with other players though, whuch makes this mess so much more confusing.
