    Microsoft (Routers): Merge Xbox Live and Microsoft Accounts?
    Is there a way to merge a Xbox live and Microsoft accounts. I had to get a Microsoft account to manage my Office subscriptions and I never realized as I was completeing everything that I should have had one because of Xbox. My Xbox live account used an old
    college email and I did not realize it. Now I have to accounts... Is there a way where I can merge the two? Thanks

    What did they do to the forums?

    The Xbox Forums merged with the Microsoft Answers forum.

    What will happen?

    So I got the email saying that Xbox Live Rewards is merging with Microsoft Rewards. I'm OK with this, except that my Microsoft Rewards account was suspended back when it was still Bing Rewards. If my Xbox Live Rewards account is still in good standing, what
    will happen when the merge happens? Will I just be out of luck, or can I get my Microsoft Rewards account reactivated? I sent several emails regarding the suspension of my Bing Rewards account, but didn't get any response beyond an initial investigation. Is
    there anything that can be done to help me?

    I'm afraid that it's not possible to merge multiple Xbox Live (or Microsoft) accounts into one account.

    I created the microsoft account with a gmail account. it created an xbox live profile for that account. Is there a way I can delete that xbox live part of my microsoft account and substitute the other ? The actual xbox account uses an older yahoo email
    address and its a miracle I remembered the password earler

    Are you following the steps outlined here https://support.xbox.com/en-GB/my-a...nt/change-email-sign-in-for-microsoft-account

    If you have have an Xbox gamertag assigned to the email you want to use, then it won't be possible. Bear in mind if the email address you wish to remove is a Microsoft one (@outlook, @live, @hotmail) then it will be completely closed down and you will have
    no access to emails or anything associated with that address.

    Hi Greg,

    As stated previously, once they are created, there is no way of merging them together. Only thing you can do is add an email as a secondary on the account you want to use. As there is no other solution to this issue, I will be locking this thread.
