Microsoft Mahjong theme has changed on it's own & I can't change it back...

Wanted to drop in and check a few things out. Was the theme changed for you mid-game? If you return to the main menu and start a new game, you should have the option to select your preferred theme. Do you get any issues with that?

All 4 of the new themes are terrible, I prefer the original theme and it is not available. Been playing since I got Windows 10 and now cannot recognize the new characters in the new themes well enough.

Are you referring to Microsoft Mahjong?

If so, then after you open the game, scroll down to Themes (it should be right under "Recently Played"). From there, you can choose between a couple different themes, which change the tiles and symbols.

It seems that there were changes of the tile set after upgrading to Windows 11. Let us check on how to change the tile set by following several steps.

Try following the steps below to change the tile set of your Microsoft Mahjong:

1. Open Microsoft Mahjong.

2. Click on the "Settings" icon in the top right corner of the screen.

3. Click on "Tileset" in the left-hand menu.

4. Select the tile set you prefer from the list of available options.

If you cannot change through the steps above, change the tiles for Microsoft Mahjong through the Theme settings of the game. Follow the steps below:

1. Launch the game.
   
2. Press F5 on your keyboard to show the settings.
   
3. Click on Themes and choose your preferred theme under Standard Themes.
   

If you don't see the tile set you prefer in the list, it may not be available in the version of Microsoft Mahjong you're using. In that case, you may want to try a different version of the game.

The theme is accessible in your console's settings. Go to the social blade, click on your avatar, then it will allow you to change theme... unless Microsoft changed it the last time I checked (I don't change my themes).
