    MICROSOFT LIFECAM HD 3000 NOT WORKING WITH XBOX


    I just got a brand new lifecam 3000 to stream via xbox. I edited ALL of my settings to make sure this is accessible (privacy and all) and it's still not working. The lifecam blinks three times when I plug it into the xbox and doesn't turn on at all afterwards.

    My series S is updated to the latest version.

    I've tried plugging it in through every USB port and still nothing. It works on my Apple Macbook, but not the console. Please help me figure this out before I return this piece of junk.

    I currently use the Microsoft LifeCam HD-3000 on my computer and it surprisingly has good quality for how cheap it is! If you are looking for cheap, this would be perfect for both PC and Xbox

    Im not sure the Logitech Brio is compatible with the Xbox.

    1. Are you using your webcam for live streaming on Xbox console?
    2. What type of Xbox console are you using?

    If you are using this webcam for your live streaming into your Xbox, here are few things to check:

    1. Plug your USB webcam into your Xbox.

    2. Allow your camera to be used for live streaming if you haven’t already:

    • Press the Xbox button to open the guide, go to System & profile > Settings > Account > Privacy & online safety > Xbox privacy > View details & customize > Communication & multiplayer and make sure you can use video for communications.
    • In the guide, go to Capture & share > Live streaming > Camera options and check that your camera is set to On.
    • Open a live streaming provider app and follow the instructions for streaming.
    • Start your live stream.
    Note: To live stream microphone audio as well, you’ll need to use a headset.
