Microsoft is stringing me alone

I sent in my son's Xbox Elite controller to be fixed/exchanged. Microsoft sent me back a standard controller. This order was

initiated on May 28th. It is now July 10, and has not been resolved.

I have talked to so many reps.....all over the world. So they sent me a standard controller. I told them that a standard controller is no way comparable to and Elite controller. So this rep Sal tried to send me a second standard controller, telling me
that would be equal compensation. My son already has two standard controllers...he does not need four standard controllers.

The Elite controller is under warranty. My thinking was since my controller is under warranty. Why not send me a new Elite controller? Sal told me that his supervisor would have to approve something like that. All the reps until this time have been
courteous. The so call supervisor David calls me and says that I shipped a standard controller because that is what they received was standard controller. I said, "No David, that is ****." I sent in an Elite controller, this needs to be investigated. David
told me he was going to hang up, because I used profanity. How can someone have a job as a customer service rep and can't handle a customer who has been upset and is about to be wronged?

Now I reached a rep, Cory. Cory seemed to willing to help. Cory gather some information from me and claims that his superior is going to look into everything. On Tuesday, July 7th, Cory promised me that I would hear back from him within 72 hours. 72
hours has passed, no Cory. I feel like I am just wasting my time. Microsoft stole my son's controller ($160+ from me) and there appears there is nothing that I can do about it. I have been a customer of Xbox/microsoft for at least 17 years.
