    back in December, 2017, my children created an account on Xbox Live for my daughter using my debit card. I found out about this in January when I saw the charge on my bank account, and called Microsoft to cancel it right away. I have been told everything
    from it is impossible to cancel an account because it's a lifelong subscription, to **** off lady, we're not going to help you and were going to keep charging you! I have since been charged $9.99 every month, for 4 months. No matter what I do, I cannot get
    them to stop charging my debit card so I guess I'm going to have to just go ahead and bite the bullet and cancel the debit card. They are straight-up stealing from me and will not stop! Maybe I should contact police? I just don't know where I would even start!
    You people ought to be shot for doing this to anyone, let alone people who need every single penny they have just to get by! I hope you're proud of yourselves! I won't even let my kids play Xbox live anymore because of this nightmare. You have lost my trust
    forever and I have been spreading the word all over how much you guys suck! You owe me $50 yeah, and at the very least $40 since I called to cancel back in January of 2018, and I've been charged for February, March, and now April. Thanks for nothing! By the
    way, it'd be nice if you hired people who spoke better, clearer English that I could actually understand. I'm not racist but I also can't understand someone when they're not speaking my language.

    When you buy any promo offers on the dashboard it automatically turns auto-renewal back on. It tells you this in the product description.
    They aren't stealing your money, they are doing exactly what they said they would do.

    If you get ahold of xbox support by going to support.xbox.com/contact-us or if you are in the US/Canada calling 1800 4 my xbox if you dont know your kids information for them to verify and get into the account to cancel the subscription they can look up
    their account with the credit card number that is being charged and remove the card from the account for you in effect cancelling any future charges for the subscription.

    their account with the credit card number that is being charged and remove the card from the account for you in effect cancelling any future charges for the subscription.

    You cannot turn off auto-renewal by email. Those emails don't ask you if you want to turn it off, they're just to inform you that you're going to be charged. The only way to turn off auto-renewal is to call customer support.

    billing questions are best handled by phone support. I know you would prefer to give a kidney than deal with phone support but they are best equipped to handle your situation quickly.

    Sorry to hear about the problems. So if you scroll to Settings, then select Account and choose Download History you don't show this as the top entry? If so then just click on it and select Download Again. If not then the good news is that since you have
    the confirmation e-mail this will have the date and confirmation number. I would recommend contacting Microsoft Phone Support to either look at providing a refund so you can re-purchase or so
    they can figure out what is going on. Let us know how things go.
