Microsoft Is Keeping My XBOX Live Rewards

I Have Not Received Any Rewards For The Games I Have Bought From The Microsoft Store. The Only Rewards I Get Is From The Surveys.

Xbox Live Reward migrating to Microsoft Reward

Starting in June, Xbox Live Reward is migrating to Microsoft Reward. But the thing is my Microsoft reward is suspended and I don't know why. Is this going to affect my account? Am I still be able to get the full xbox experience? Am I still be able
to use my account since it the same email for both services? I don't want my xbox live experience and reward to stop because of my Microsoft Rewards is suspended.

Actually this is the Xbox Live Rewards program. What it is being switched to is Microsoft Rewards. There is no Live Rewards.

What is Xbox Live Rewards?



Xbox Live Rewards is a loyalty programme designed for people who love Xbox. In addition to getting access to special offers and promotions that are exclusive to our members, you will also be able to earn Rewards Credits that will be converted into your
local currency and deposited into your Microsoft account, where they can then be used to purchase digital items you want in the Microsoft Store.


There are two easy ways to earn Rewards Credits each month.

• By completing ongoing 'missions', which are specific tasks that need to be completed within a set time-period. You can see the current missions on the MyMissions page.
• By earning a MyVIP Star Rank, which gives you a % back on your monthly digital purchases in the Microsoft Store on your Xbox or on Windows.

Since your purchases last month and May did not complete any missions, and were not eligible for MyVIP (since they were pre-orders and consumables), you did not get Credits for your purchases those months. From the FAQ:

Normally, most digital purchases for Xbox 360 and Xbox One from the Microsoft Store on your Xbox or Windows qualify towards your MyVIP Star Rank and % back on purchases (retail Microsoft Store purchases do not apply). Qualifying content includes full
Games on Demand titles (excluding game pre-orders), arcade games, indie games, game add-ons, game Season Passes, films, TV programmes, TV seasons, themes and avatar items. In-game consumables, Xbox Live Gold memberships, subscriptions like EA Access and Xbox
Game Pass, TV Season Passes, and the purchase or redemption of Microsoft Points or Xbox Gift Cards, still do not qualify.

Regarding your MyVIP eligible purchases this month, also from the FAQ:

When will my MyVIP Rewards Credits be deposited into my Microsoft account?



The total Rewards earned will be calculated at the end of each month. Typically you will receive your MyVIP earnings in your account by the 15th of the following month, though this is subject to the programme's current deposit terms. Be sure to keep an
eye on MyStatement on the MyRewards page to track your progress and watch your Rewards Credits total grow!

Since we have not yet calculated the month of December for MyVIP, it is too early to see those Credits pending.
