The ad on this site STILL says “works with ALL of your Xbox accessories”. As it clearly does NOT, and Microsoft had an earlier offer to provide Kinect adapters which they didn’t think was worth extending to early adopters like us, I can only assume that
they just don’t care about their customers.

The overpriced adapter is sold out everywhere I looked, except EBay, where it goes for double of triple the listed price on Amazon.

Come on, Microsoft! These are very expensive machines, that most of us bought after we bought our
other very expensive gaming machine from Microsoft and only want to use the accessories that we paid for, that will re-enable voice control. Every forum I read has endless people complaining about this sleazy move - how about doing the right thing?

    :)

  2. And now for something completely different

So hostile. Sad, since I actually wasn't being hostile or sarcastic in the slightest.

    .

    Oh well.

Hostile mobs are also suppose to not spawn on them but the coding is messed up or something. Had hostiles spawning on them last night which shouldn't be happening.

    Microsoft hostile to loyal customers?

I think that MS seriously needs to get their act together and sort this out.. it says with SMALL print on one of the sides of the box that the One X comes in "An adapter is required to connect the Xbox one Kinect sensor to the Xbox one (X) (available separately)..
Only problem is that it is no longer available as from what I understand MS has discontinued the adaptor along with the Kinect sensor.. I know that at some point MS added a not so clearly visible information to this fact in their advertising.. In my opinion
this should have been stated a lot more clearly, The issue of adapter for Kinect compatibility should have been sorted out for the launch of the One X, as I can't that they where not aware of their own plans to discontinue it and encourage early adopters/upgraders
that wished to continue using the Kinect with the One X to order an adapter along with their pre-order.. Ideally I wish the could have extended the same deal to us who chose to upgrade from the Xbox one to the One X as they did for the upgraders to the One
S... But at least they could let us have the possibility to pic one up at a reasonable price!

As you say FindableGlint48 the adapter is sold out everywhere, and is only available at places like EBay and similar, at what i call "blackmail prices" that alone should tell M$ that there clearly is a market for the adapter even if the might not be one
    for the Kinect sensor itself!

I say that Micro$oft should be ashamed of themselves for pulling the rug from under the feet of their customers like they have done with the Kinect sensor adaptor, and that they should seriously consider putting the adapter back in production for at least
long enough for those of us that upgraded to the Xbox One X to get the Kinect sensor that we paid for either bundled with the console or bought separately!

Why is microsoft doing this to loyal customer?

I now feel that the gamerscore, gamertag and achievements were just ways of tying us to the xbox brand, so that we would be less likely change consoles when new ones were released. It now feels more like enslavement than loyalty and I won't feel sorry to
    lose it.

This! That's what I've been saying. I have over 65k gamerscore, I have been using Xbox since Christmas 2004 (this is my second account) and it's hard to walk away from all of my hard earned gamerscore. I really with Microsoft will change their ways, because
I really don't want to have to start over on the PS4. I firmly believe that gamerscore is just a way for us to stick with the Xbox.

they refuse to tell me why even in the forum for bans they just say nothing, but honestly my post is not really about my account ban its about the consoles accounts and the fact the xbox one seems suicidal as far as the console wars go.

Why is microsoft doing this to loyal customer?

If you think about this a few minutes it might make some sense. Any good company looks at ways to get rid of stuff that doesn't make them money. Used games, and consoles for the first fews years do not many any money, if fact console sometimes loose money.
So now every new game as well as every MS published game now makes the company money. They just pushed most of the people that buy used games and trade/lend games to Sony. So the way I look at this MS will sell less consoles but will make just as much money.
