Microsoft has refunded my game, and I haven't received payment yet?

Once a refund is approved Microsoft gives the money to your financial institution.
As you didn't received the refund yet you may need to double check your bank statements or contact the bank and track the transaction

A good half year ago I pre-ordered a game that was set to release soon. Unfortunately the release date for the game was unspecified and Microsoft had to refund my game. The problem arises is that I still haven't received my funds 2+ months later. And in the email it specified to around 2-5 business days. Does anyone have any recommendations on what to do?

Are you sure it actually charged you already? If you had preordered via either paypal or a debit/credit card then Microsoft doesn't actually charge you for the preorder until about 10 days before the expected release date of said game.

When will I be billed for my game? :

"If you used account credit to pre-order your game, your balance will be taken immediately. If you used a credit card or split your payment between credit card and account balance, you’ll be charged around 10 days before the game launches."

I am having the same issue, i haven't received my refund yet and it has been 5 biz days. Please help, I'd like my refund asap if possible.
