    Microsoft has a problem with gaming services


    For the past month I spent around 3 hours everyday trying to troubleshoot and get minecraft for windows to run on my PC. The issues seems to stem from gaming services but once I tried literally everything and rollbacked my windows I realized the problem was not from me but from microsoft. Whenever I try to download either gaming services or minecraft launcher off the microsoft store, I get an error that says something like "Something happened in our end". I have literally tried all the stuff that comes up with this issue. I still have hope and I want to fix this issue

    I can see you must be very frustrated with all this gaming services error.

    These instructions are meant to get gaming services reinstalled on Windows 10/11:

    1. Select the Search icon on the taskbar, type powershell, right-click on Windows PowerShell, and then select Run as administrator.

    2. In Windows PowerShell, type the following command and press Enter:
    get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers

    3. In the same window, type the following command and press Enter:
    start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN

    4. Install the app on that page and select Yes when you receive the User Account Control (UAC) prompt.

    5. Restart your device and try to install the game again.
