    Microsoft Gift Card of $10 not functioning on xbox game pass purchase!


    I am trying to get xbox game pass with microsoft gift card. It does not work without a credit or debit card as additional payment. Sadly enough, through the immense demeaning act of Microsoft i am not allowed to add a non US credit/Debit card. How can i
    add a Non-US debit or credit card in Xbox account to continue my purchase?

    You can't redeem Amazon gift cards or currency in Amazon accounts for currency in your Microsoft/Xbox account - you must buy an Xbox Gift Card (or code) with that money on it.

    Try restarting your Xbox by holding the power button on your Xbox for 10 seconds. Then try to purchase the Ultimate game pass with your gift card balance and see what happens.

    I believe it is Microsoft's policy that credit on your account from gift cards cannot be used to purchase services, such as Xbox Live or Game Pass. You'll have to use a credit card or a PayPal account.

    The rewards states "Get an Xbox Gift Card to buy games, devices, and more at Microsoft Store online, on Windows, and on Xbox." And doesn't state any caveats.

    Also 10 months ago I purchase an xbox elite controller 2 and used reward gift card to do it without issue.
