    I'm a middle to low class single mom who honestly just was able to get my 10 year old an xbox one this past july he's been waiting 4 years for me to be able to afford it. Now the new system is out of course he wants it but understands it'll be awhile before
    i can afford it clearly. Im wondering is the gen x series worth the money honestly or is the xbox one still going to be able to compete as in still have new games produced for the one or is microsoft gonna try to completely phase out the 360 and xbox one?
    Just wondering if i should spend that much cash on the new system i mean if theres a hige difference between it and the xbix one and with all the problems ive read people are having would i be wasting my hard earned little bit of cash i have fir basically
    nothing that i could spend elsewhere for mykid.

    Will Xbox Series X be worth it

    The One X will have cross generation support, and especially if Microsoft unifies game releases so one purchase gets you the license for the One/Series X versions of the game (because they'll effectively be the same release with different settings/patches),
    then there is a great value for people who already own the current gen systems. I already have the One X, but if I didn't, I definitely wouldn't be buying a current gen system less than 12 months from the release of a new console. Even with better than ever
    support for the last gen, you'll only get a few more years of full support for the One X vs closer to a decade for the Series X.

    Yes, from what I understand crossplay is available for same gen systems. So the Series X/S would be able to play with PS5 and PC players.
