    Microsoft Games / Xbox Gamebar Turning Down Volume


    Hi,

    When I play Sea of Thieves on my PC (I bought it on Steam) my Discord audio is turned down, though it does not show that it has been in my Volume Mixer; therefore, I can't readjust it. Now, I've noticed when I'm in an Xbox party on my PC, it turns down the audio of the game I'm playing. Does anyone know which settings can fix both of these problems?

    PC - Stereo Headset Adaptor Issue

    just use the gamebar audio mixer to turn game volume down, thats how it is done on pc.

    Why does my xbox game bar mess with my audio volume?

    gamebar sometimes resets the volume you set when starting a game, drives me nuts that why i removed it. as you can manually set app volumes within gamebar.

    While looking at the Microsoft chat adapter you will see five buttons from the left to the right. Game Volume button, Chat Volume button, Mute button, Volume up button and Volume down button. Pressing the button with the little controller symbol will let
    you control the game sound volume. The button with the little person symbol will let you control the chat volume. To turn the chat or game sound up or down press the corresponding button and then use the volume up/down to tune the sound to your liking.

    Hello!

    Have you tried turning down the headset volume in the volume mixer? My headphones use to cut out as well, turning the volume down solved the issue. If the headset only cuts out in one game, maybe try to turn down the volume in said game. If this doesn't work
