I do expect an answer from a reputable graphic card seller if the 970 card or better if the 5000 card its attached without been soldered and the compatible one could fit in its place. Once I get the answer I will let you know.

The vast majority of laptops can only have limited upgrades, usually RAM and internal storage. The CPU and GPU will more than likely be soldered into the mainboard and therefore can't be upgraded. Your machine is quite old now, circa 2015.

The Quadro line of GPU's were designed for graphics design work such as CAD (Computer Aided Design) not gaming, although they can still be used to play games. Because their purpose being for graphics productivity applications they were more expensive, and they generally contained more VRAM. Indeed, 8GB of GDDR5 was quite high for a laptop GPU in 2015.

In terms of raw performance it looks slightly lower than minimum requirement for this game which is a GTX 770. Even that isn't a fair comparison as the 770 is a desktop graphics card. But the M5000M does have the advantage of more VRAM (8GB vs 2GB).

To be quite honest, unless you plan to buy a far more capable machine to play MSFS2020 in the not too distant future it's not worth buying it.

You could try out the PC version of GamePass for a month and then try the game out via that. If it doesn't work, cancel the subscription.

If so, then it's incompatibility. Well, speaking of processing, your disposition is very good.

But from what I've seen, the notebook is not intended for games.

There is no way to confirm exactly which component is incompatible, because the pc will not detect the exact component, but normally it is the video card or the processor.

Try installing the game and tell me what message pops up for you.

the gpu is not really best suited for that sim game, it did launch back in 2015, as it will be built into the mainboard you may struggle to update it, unless it is a removable discreet card which i am not sure it it.

You cannot replace the GPU on 99.9% of laptops. If you could, there would be a solution that doesn't require soldering. You can't just take one chip off and put another one on, they have different connection requirements.
