    Microsoft Flight Simulator won't install from Windows Store


    I've been trying to install Flight Simulator Standard edition from the Windows Store for PC. I have Game Pass, but every time I attempt to install it I immediately get an error indicating that Digital Ownership can't be installed with code 0x80073D12. I've
    tried resetting the Windows Store using wsreset, looking for disk integrity errors using SFC /scannow, logging in/out of the store (and rebooting), updating the latest version of Windows (which I already have), changing the install drive, even creating a new
    local user account and installing there. I've tried literally every possible solution I've found online, and it never works.

    One hint -- I had tried to install previously (via Windows Store & Game pass), but it was taking *forever*, so I canceled the install midway through (after waiting hours). It's possible that prior attempt left something behind that's preventing me from installing,
    although I can't find anything in my WindowsApps directory that would indicate that there are any file remnants (maybe something is cached elsewhere?). Really hoping someone can figure this out -- there are innumerable posts online with other suffering from
    the same issue, so if we can solve this, we'd likely help hundreds of players with the same problem
