    Microsoft Flight Simulator quits cloud gaming


    I got MSFS 2020 on my Xbox One, and even though I have a good internet connection, and have Game Pass and Cloud gaming, it disconnects me from the game, saying it quit unexpectedly. I tried restarting my Xbox and getting in and out many times. Could you please help me with solving this issue

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

    It is compatible with Xbox One but if you're playing Microsoft Flight Simulator through cloud gaming it will not work because according to Xbox Support:

    "Flight sticks and other non-standard controllers are not yet supported on Xbox Cloud Gaming. Microsoft Flight Simulator can be played on an Xbox One console via cloud gaming using an Xbox Wireless Controller or Xbox-licensed gamepad."

    Hello TheAircraftNerd, does this disconnect only happen when you're playing MSFS on Xbox or does it happen to other games you're trying to play on XCloud?

    You've already checked your NAT to see if it's open or strict, ideally it's open.

    XBOX One NAT Test

    Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

    Click Profile and system > Settings > General > Network Settings.

    Under Current network status, the NAT Type field displays the current NAT type.

    Your console is connected by wi-fi or network cable, ideally it is connected by network cable for a more stable connection.

    The NAT is open, and I also tried it on my laptop, and other cloud games work on there, but still not MSFS

    Just a friendly reminder though that if you're playing the game on Cloud Gaming according to Xbox support: "Flight sticks and other non-standard controllers are not yet supported on Xbox Cloud Gaming.     This is the reason why it's working for War thunder and not for Microsoft Flight Simulator which you've been playing on cloud gaming.
