    Microsoft Flight Simulator keeps crashing to desktop after a few minutes of flight time.


    My game keeps crashing after a few minutes of flying around, but also sometimes it crashes randomly and

    I have tried every bug fix and configurations recommended that i saw online and unfortunately the game keeps crashing to desktop without any error messages.

    Thing to note:

    I have the Premium Deluxe Edition version.

    I have the Steam version of the game.

    I exceed all the recommended pc hardware.

    MFS2020 is the only game that crashed for me, all other games works marvelously

    I'm running windows as administrator.

    Game is not installed on the same drive as windows is.

    Windows is installed in the fastest SSD M2 drive.

    All drivers are up to date including motherboard driver.

    All softwares are also up to date.

    All Windows updates are updated.

    I have the latest Visual C++ redistributables.

    Windows gaming mode is ON.

    All gaming overlays are turned off like (gaming bar,discord,steam,nvidia).

    Things that i have tried and didn't work:

    Checked game file integrity on Steam.

    Running the game in different lower settings.

    Running the game without DATA turned ON.

    Restarting pc / turning off and back on.

    Running game as administrator.

    Manually tried to add virtual memory.

    Praying to God.

    Disabling windows defender real time protection.

    Adding game folder to virus scan exemption.

    Adding game to firewall exemptions.

    Uninstalled MSI Afterburner and ARMOURY Crate Software.

    Adding game to "PREFER MAXIMUM PERFORMANCE" graphic settings.

    Disabling V-Sync graphic settings.

    Things i haven't tried yet:

    Re-installing the game (too big. my internet connections is only 30mb)

    Eula workaround (https://steamcommunity.com/app/1250410/discussions/5/5188663423661645636/)

    Changing game resolution to lower configs.

    My pc specs: (My computer is not overclocked)

    Motherboard: ASUS Prime
    x570-pro

    CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3800x

    Memory: DDR4 4x8gb 32gb 2133mhz (patriot viper gaming)

    Graphics: GTX 1080ti (zotac)

    Storage: 2x 1tb Samsung 970 EVO+ M2 / And 3 other Sata SSDs

    Monitor: AOC Q3279WG5B 32" (59 fps) 2560x1440(native)

    Thanks for the reply but I have tried that and it didn't worked for me.

    But i uninstalled the game and removed temporary game files and re-installed the Visual C++ redistributable files and it appears to have fixed the problem of crashing. (keep in mind i'm still running the game on medium settings)

    I have a similar configuration like yours except GPU RX590 and I had a very similar problem. Crash with Blank Screen

    I was using raccomended graphical level (high end)

    Decreasing to 'medium' now works withouth crash

    Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 Crash

    I have a very fast computer with AMD 3950x cpu, nvidia 2080 ti video card, 64GB ram and m.2 nvme ssd. My pc is water cooled so no issue of heating up. It’s very annoying that after 5 to 6 hours flight it crashes to desktop and does not save any flight
    time. I am unable to complete any flight that is longer than 30 minutes. Extremely disappointed.
