    Microsoft flight simulator does not connect to internet (using cloud gaming)


    I open flight simulator on my xbox one with cloud gaming and when i try to "Fly" it says im not connected to the internet and that it will try to connect. when i click "download offline map" its says something went wrong. please help.

    I FOUND AN ANSWER: Go to Options > General Options > Data, and then reset to defaults. It worked for me! :)

    Hi Nintendo W, my name is Daniel. I am an independent advisor who is willing to help you.

    For me, it is an honor to write to you and try to help you in any way possible, for my part I will do my best to try to solve any questions/problems you are presenting.

    I am sorry that you are having this problem on your Xbox One, with the intention of helping you I am going to suggest following these steps:

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
    2. Select Settings.
    3. Select System.
    4. Select Console Information.
    5. Select Reset console.
    6. Select Reset and keep my games and apps.

    NOTE: This will delete the profiles on your console, make sure you remember your account email and password. Also by doing this, no data or saved games will be lost, everything is backed up on the cloud servers.

    If none of this works, you must uninstall and install the game again, as it may be due to a corrupt file that is on the system and could be causing this failure.

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

    It is compatible with Xbox One but if you're playing Microsoft Flight Simulator through cloud gaming it will not work because according to Xbox Support:

    "Flight sticks and other non-standard controllers are not yet supported on Xbox Cloud Gaming. Microsoft Flight Simulator can be played on an Xbox One console via cloud gaming using an Xbox Wireless Controller or Xbox-licensed gamepad."
