    Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 won't start after rebooting ("Gaming services" redirection...


    I finally managed to install the game and play with a good performance, but, to my dismay, everything has gone down the drain after rebooting. When I launch MFS2020 (no matter how: start menu, desktop direct link or Microsoft Store), nothing happens for
    a REALLY LONG time. After that time has passed, Microsoft Store opens and redirects me to "Gaming services", which is already installed. If I try to launch the game from the Xbox app, nothing at all happens.

    In subsequent tries, behaviour changes: after clicking on the game, a window pops up asking me if I want to run the "Packages Dependency Installer". If I choose "no", everything ends there. If I click on "yes", the game tries to launch but a crash happens:

    "The application was unable to start correctly (0xlx)".

    These are my hardware and software specs below:

    iMac 2019 27" (Retina 5K)

    3,7 GHz Intel Core i5 (6 cores)

    32 GB 2667 MHz DDR4 memory

    AMD Radeon Pro 580X 8 GB graphic card (w/ GPU)

    Windows 10 version 1909 (Windows To Go) running on an external disk

    I've tried many things to solve this, and none of them worked:

    - Resetting the Microsoft Store

    - The classic Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

    - The classic sfc /scannow and DISM.exe utilities

    The only solution I've found is to repair the game via Control Panel, but that DELETES the 95 GB of data that the installer downloads, so that means you have to lose 1.5 hours of your time just to keep playing... and it's futile, because the problem reappears
    after the next reboot...

    Go to task manager -> Details. Find GamingServices.exe and GamingServicesNET.exe and end the tasks. Then launch MSFS ON THE Microsoft Store, not through the start menu. It worked for me, hopefully it
