Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 low fps despite high end pc.

I recently purchased Microsoft Flight Simulator. I have a r7 2700x for my processor and a gtx 1070. I have tried everything in the XBOX optimizations page for MSFS. I did the compatibility check and whatnot. All that. I have all the settings on low,
disabled live weather, live air traffic all that. The game is bare bones. And yet I still, struggle to break 25fps. I am flying at rural airports, with simple planes. Still not above 25-28fps. Yes, I disabled vsync. Yes, I checked to make sure all drivers
are up to date. Yes I have reinstalled the game. I am playing on a hdd. But I know of other people that are as well, who also have a lower spec than me yet they run the game better. Please, for the love of god help me. I spend $120 on this game and I want
it to damn work.

All, I have the same issue. Game runs fine until I'm in the cockpit, then the FPS tanks to single digits. I can barely click through menus. I'm on a brand new $4k computer: intel 10700k, evga 3080 FTW3 Ultra, 16gb ram OC to 3800mhz, game is on an m.2 ssd
drive. My computer that I upgrade from runs this at 2-3x the FPS than my new machine. There is definitely something wrong with the game/driver situation. I did some testing and the FPS drop to single digits goes up to 60fps if you alt+tab out and have a different
window over, even if it's off the screen. It appears that the FPS issue only happens when the game is in focus and fullscreen.

Bullcrap , their recommended graphics card is gtx 970 . the lower is GT600 somthing...

i have RTX 2070 , all drivers updated , windows updated , game updated.

24 GB of ram an i7 8700. and yet on lowest settings im getting 40-50 FPS BARELY..... somtimes even 20...

something is wrong with this game i swear.

I also have this issue. Nothing has seemed to have fixed it. On low settings and still can't break 20fps. My PC is high end, no bottleneck, re-installed several times. I can play it better on my lower end PC.

Forgive me for asking - I can understand this may be frustrating - but can you provide us with your system specs please, for both systems.

It's Microsoft so OF COURSE there is going to be problems! I bought this Flight simulator as well, have a high end computer and same thing, the frame rate utterly sucks.

Had mine running great for three weeks and then my graphics went down to low and medium. I ran on ultra for the few weeks, then suddenly even if it's on ultra the graphics looked like it was in low. I can't explain it. Hope we get an answer soon as well
as a fix.

I reiterate, I ran ULTRA for the last three weeks. I didn't mind the stutter now and then, I wanted to see all the details when I fly.
