Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 - Logitech X52 Pro Controller not Working

I have the same problem. I am really disappointed at all of the issues I am running into with FS2020

I hate to say it, but I think it was not an oversight but a blaintant move to sell more peripherals to us that have already invested heavily in equipment. This is no accident. I am not a coder and even I know to include the basics of controllers Profiles.
So, what equipment did the coders and developers use to test this sim?

Come on Microsoft. Why do you not care for the people that made you who you are today and gave you billions for dollars.

I am now using my Saitek Cessna Yoke Combo that includes the yoke, rudder pedals, trim wheel, throttle quad, plus I added another throttle quad and I am using Remote Flight Server to run their Flight Map, Radio/ Auto Pilot on iPads to create a glass dash
back on FSX NONE of which Microsoft 2020 supports. Go figure. Another company crushed by Microsoft.

Sorry this was so long,,,,,, but, I feel the folks at Microsoft need to understand our investment.

Now, I can't even return the sim. That option has timed out. Sad,,,,,,,, :-(

you must assign each axis and/or buttons manually, takes two hours, but it works finally ... after selecting a specific action you can click in the search box and then use the corresponding axis/button to assign it via the validate button ..., first
three times a bit boring, but you will get it

They must have fixed this because i just assigned the x52 pro as the default and it worked flawlessly

Thank you for responding to my query.

Do you use the X52 in other programs as well as FS2020? I use mine in FSX and
X-Plane 11 flawlessly as well as other flight sim programs.

I was thinking maybe there is a conflict with other saved profiles for these programs so I deleted all the other profiles then uninstalled and reinstalled the Saitek software provided now by Logitech. That was a mistake. The new Logitech version of the software
is different and now I can't find the original Saitek software I had installed. The version Logitech is providing is reduced and missing many components. I have read online many others are complaining of the same issue. Mine is still not working as of Sunday,
8/23/2020, 4:04 p.m. PDT.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Is there a way for Microsoft to be aware of our dilemma and fix this issue?

For now there is a workaround. Do not plug your x52 pro into usb port. Load the game first, then go to options, go to controllers. Once you are at the controllers page you will see mouse and keyboard only, now plugin your x52 pro and it will detect new.
Save the default and you will be good to play that session. There is a bug which is corrupting the defaut values for the x52 pro. You will need to do this everytime until this is fixed. You might want to look for this problem on avsim. Not here this place
is worthless.
