    Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 Keeps Crashing after "Press Any Key to Start"


    So after downloading 90GB's for this game...... after a long delay of launching from the Xbox Companion App, when I get to the "press any key to start" page, and press a key....it hangs and then the game crashes. I am rocking a G7 Gaming laptop with
    an NVidia 2060 RTX with 32 GB of RAM so I know its not my set up. Any help would be appreciated.

    Flight Simulator 2020 I open it and at the start it says "Press any key to start" and I press a key and it just flashes and says the same message again and it just keeps happening no matter what key I press or how many times I keep trying.
    Many people get stuck with the download of FS 2020. But there is not even a manual available!!! No Key code is being sent!! But they take the payment. Yes!!

    I had this very issue, went to a black screen with a circle and it pops back saying "Press any key to start". The fix for me was to install "Xbox Beta" from microsoft store and running fs 2020 from the xbox app. The very same thing Alvro1967 discovered.

    The solution is to install Xbox (beta) app from Microsoft Store and then Xbox beta app will download a couple of extra files necessary for running. Then, you need to log in your account (where you bought FS2020 from) and start Microsoft Flight Simulator
    Game from the Xbox Beta app. Voil , it will lead you to the download process of the 91.36 GB extras for full install of the game.
