    I have FS2020 Xbox since Aug. 18 and used it almost every day without problems until today. This morning (Sep 12) it got stuck on the launch page. Did the troubleshooting to find that the content of the Packages folder had vanished overnight (!? yeah,
    me neither...). I uninstalled FS2020 via the start menu, restarted the computer, re-installed the app via Xbox. It downloaded the first 1Gb or so and declared the app installed. I launched it then it got stuck on the blue bar of the launch page. It never
    triggered the content manager that would populate the Packages folder, which is still empty. Tried this several times and several ways with always the same result.

    How do I reinstall the game as if it was the first time?

    Keep in mind that if you have any spaces in your path you will need to add "" at the beginning and end. This is also explained in the video.

    I had the same problem here, I found a solution.

    I had already installed it on drive 2, so I had to find the place where the package was already before. I found this path

    D: \ WpSystem \ "NUMBER" \ AppData \ Local \ Packages \ Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe \ LocalCache \ Packages

    After selecting this path, the update returned to just 11 GB. Hope this helps.
    That path in your post was exactly what I was looking for.

    I had also installed FS 2020 on drive D. I used the Browse button in FS Installation Manager for the 1.9.3.0 patch to set the folder you specified to override the default that was pointing to a drive C User AppData subfolder.

    It would have been nice if the Installation Manager would have defaulted to this folder where the FS 2020 packages are actually installed, but you have supplied the information to work around that deficiency.
