    I haven't played Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 in a week and when I finally did, it told me to 'please insert the Microsoft Flight Simulator disc' even though I installed the game through game pass ultimate. This issue only started happening to me today;
    before that I didn't have any issues with the game. I have tried restarting and rebooting my computer, checking my region but nothing seems to work. I have searched about this problem and one suggestion was to uninstall then reinstall the Digital Ownership,
    but I don't know how to do that. I've also recently installed Forza Horizon 4 before the issue started and now my storage is just under 100gb and maybe that is what is causing the issue? Does anyone have a solution for this?

    I bought Microsoft flight simulator on xbox one s but it says 'This game isn't compatible'

    If you’re inserting it, that tells me you bought the Windows disc version and live in Europe, or that you bought a copy of Flight Simulator X which is PC only. There is no Xbox disc release at this time.

    No disc version of Flight Simulator will work on any Xbox

    Flight Simulator 2020 only works on Series consoles, One consoles are not compatible

    I solved the issue as follows.

    - Open FS2020 - get "Insert game disk..." prompt; left Window open

    - Open Digital Ownership page for FS2020 (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/digital-ownership/9nhnch1hdgg5?activetab=pivot:eek:verviewtab)

    - Sign out - Sign back in to make sure the account that has Game Pass is selected

    - Install should be available; target appropriate device (I had two) that has the game installed

    - Wait (not sure if it is needed, but it took me 2 restarts of FS2020 before it worked)

    - Close and reopen FS2020

    Thank you so much. This fixed my issue but I did not need to restart the game multiple times.

    This did not give me an option to uninstall, unfortunately.
