For a while now I've been wanting to leave my Microsoft Family because it prevents me from playing a few particular multiplayer games and subscribing to xBox GamePass, asking me to ask a parent for permission. I feel this is pretty unnecessary since I am 18, but oh well.
I tried leaving the family but when I go to the overview I get 'fallen popsicles' and the typical microsoft error message along with the traceID I provided.
I've tried it on two different days and at different times but it hasn't changed.

It doesn't seem to be system related as it happens on my win10 intel laptop and on my win11 amd desktop.

This will happen if th account is still recognized as a child. You'll need to have a parent see if they can remove you from the family.

Also keep in mind, if your account isn't 18 yet (officially and not an attempt to change your birth date) you'll be unable to do anything that requires parental permission.

My issue is adding members to my account which I am the Organizer. These members are not part of another family and keep getting this error message every time I request to invite:

Went to Family Settings -> Clicked Overview (3 dots for one of my child accounts) -> Spending
then this error on any device
